Default Winter Park "Clinics"

Has anyone attended a Winter Park "Clinic"? I am familiar with
"lessons" but really don't what a "clinic" is or whether a clinic at
Winter Park would be worth the time and (discounted) $35 price.

It has been many years (decades) since I've had any formal instruction
whatsoever, and the discount coupon made think about it. I always think
I can get better. I've been perusing the webpage
(http://www.skiwinterpark.com/skischo...lPrograms.html) and was
thinking about trying the "Early Season" clinic.

They really are the same thing: Group lessons where you are sorted by
ability and what you want to work on.

I might add, early season "clinics" are often aimed at re-establishing
and extending previous season-end skills; thus they are often focused
differently than traditional lessons. They are more designed to get you
back to where you were quickly, and then identify a few techniques to
work on during the early season.

Clinic is often just a group lesson, but I notice that when they use the
term, the clinic has a title, or specific focus, and you enrol in it to do
this thing (steeps, bumps, whatever). Imagine this is your early season
tune-up. This style of lesson might be good in that everyone in it has come
to do the thing the clinic is about, rather than it being a lottery.
