Airport Transfer Montgenevre

Hi all,

We are going to Montgenevre in February 2005 and are currently planning to
fly into Turin. If possible we would like to use local bus/train to get to
the resort. Does anyone have any experience on this transfer - prices,
weblinks or general experiences would be greatly appreciated. We are hoping
to keep costs right down so that probably precludes a hire car... however if
you consider it necessary given the transfer would you be able to recommend
good companies with which we can pre-book?

As an aside would you consider Turin to be the best choice of airport or
might Geneva or another be a better choice?

I believe that you can get a train to Oulx and there is a bus from there but
I have no details of times. Getting there might be OK of you're on an early
flight but it might be very difficult if you're also on an early return
flight. I had a quote of £24/head for a taxi to Serre Chevalier (each way)
so Montgenvre should be a bit cheaper. Check out the link on the Serre
