Does anybody have any recommendation on
Kronplatz Italy - early January ?

I have never been there.

I have never been there.


You should get there. Very up-to-date lifts, at least 2 fantastic black
slopes (Silvester and Herrnegg) and a lately open one, and a red one (Olang)
really worth a trip.

You might find accomodation in many starting resorts, due to the vastity of
the ski-area, which includes many possible approaches. If you don't care
about night-life, I recommend San Vigilio di Marebbe (St. Vigil in
Enneberg), where the road comes to an end and ladin people are clean and
nice like no other places.

There you may live a true mountain life in a village that will offer all you
need. There are not the glamourous shops of the great à-la-page resorts
(Cortina, Campiglio, Kitzbuehel, and more) but you will find anything you
really need.
