Default Vinyl heat shrink wrapping carbon poles.

_ I lost the original thread, but you can get shrink wrap tubing in
sizes up to 2 inches in diameter at most serious electronic
supply places[1]. It reduces in diameter up to 50% when heated
with a blow dryer. I take the baskets off my poles and use
the smallest diameter that will fit over the basket holder.
( either 3/4 or 7/8 of an inch ). If you have probe poles,
you can start from the other end.

_ Mine gets pretty cut up after a season and replacing it
is part of my summer ski storage ritual.

Thanks.

_ I googled this up. No idea if they are reliable, but the price
is similar.

_ Turns out it's not vinyl, but Polyolefin heat shrink tubing.
