Ignorance? Where is my ignorance? I have skiied a number of places in
Europe, and prefer my experience of Canadian skiing.. I don't see anything ignorant about that.. "BrritSki" wrote in message ... InMyTree wrote: Its certainly not below me.. You've admitted before that your experience of European resorts is limited, so you're 'ignorant' about the rest of Europe. It can be a little irritating, particularly given the newsgroup on which you're posting, when you slag off resorts about which you know little or nothing. |

Try Snowstar Holidays in Tignes they will offer a discount for New Year if
you ask. See www.snowstarholidays.com for more details. "Mark" wrote in message m... Has anybody any recent experience of booking a late deal at New Year? (I have noted some Google posts from pre 2000 that suggest that good offers are difficult to find, but cannot find anything of late). Brochure prices are just so high (for one that is used to skiing mid-January !) I am particularly interested in the higher French resorts that offer good childcare facilities, although other areas would be considered depending on conditions at the time. Thanks in advance for any helpful information. |

Those prices for catered chalets would be average-to-cheap if they included flights, but for travel-free accommodation, even with food, they look like a ripoff! -Sarah |

I think that "ripoff" is a bit strong as our prices were comparable with other operators. However we have just reduced our prices to remain competitive (and we still offer discounts to Ski Club members). The reduction is to allow for the fact that flights bought separately are more expensive than charter flights. We try to listen to the views expressed in the newsgroup! Richard. |
