Vaujany

We are taking our three children (3, 4 and 5) to Vaujany (Ski Peak) in
Spring next year. None of them has ever skied before (although they have
just been to a dry ski slope and loved every second). Does anyone know
anything about Vaujany and whether there are any pitfalls to avoid etc.?
The reviews I have read suggest that it is a wonderful place for children
(as well as allowing parents to ski Alpe-d'Huez). That said, in a recent
string about skiing for children no one mentioned the resort at all.

Childcare and ski schools are very good with a particularly good creche at
Vaujany. The local slopes at Montfrais are good and ideal for children of
varying abilities.

Access to Alpe d'Huez is excellent via Montfrais or the main cable car.
Some
of the runs down to Oz which are necessary to take on the way back can get
icy in the afternoon, but you should enjoy excellent conditions in the
Spring.
