Isola 2000, what is it like?
I was wondering if anyone has ever been to Isola 2000, late in the
season? Is it fairly reliable snow-wise? Any comments will be appreciated. |

I've skied there in good snow and had a great 2 days. Snow cover there can
be variable, sometimes they get storms that the northern alps don't and vice versa. regards, Greg |

There was about 40cm of snow last week but it has been a poor season in the South. Water restrictions are going in place soon. Still if anywhere has snow in the South it is Isola as it benefits both from storms coming up from the South and from storms blowing in from Italy on the Lombard wind. It is also very high. Like Greg I've had some fun skiing there. It is quite a good domain and I've skied late in April then driven down to the Med to swim - the skiing was better. |
