Default OLN Coverage

Right now on OLN (9:45pm Thursday 02-26) some very dynamic (albeit
truncated) coverage of the men's double pursuit in Oberstdorf. Some
good coverage with mobile cameras and angles that convey the speeds
involved, a la SLC 2002. Much better than the WC coverage from a
couple years ago that relied on static cameras, often racked all the
way to telephoto, which foreshortened distances and minimized the
sensation of speed.

Great : another time slot that I can't watch.
Earlier this season, OLN was replaying Thursday biathlon coverage on
Saturdays - then they stopped the Saturday replays. Since my only access to
OLN is on weekends, they effectively shut me out. I guess "two full hours a
week" of anything connected with XC skiing is too much for OLN :-(

Worse, the stuff last night wasn't dedicated coverage. It
was part of Picabo Street's "Snow Zone" series, which in
past episodes has had lots of downhill, skicross, and even
snowmobile racing. Last week was all Nordic, though - first
half was ski jumping and the second half was biathlon (the
same race they showed on the biathlon series on Thursday).
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to find out
in advance what's going to be on that week.
