I've got some questions for ya...

What is the BEST snowboard in the world? Is there any consensus?

What is the best snowboard brand?

What is the hippest snowboard?

What is the best affordable snowboard (brand)?

Thanks a lot!

Ok, I'll take it straight.

Snowboarding's a sport which has a problem. People are encouraged to
buy snowboards which they've never ridden, and to make their choice
based on consumer concepts such as "brand", "hippness", "best" etc.
This is particularly problematic for a sport where it's crucial that
board and rider are well matched.

The result is ultimately bad for the sport: most snowboarders are
unable to even turn their boards and rapidly become disillusioned with
something which offers so much in terms of "image" and yet delivers so
little in terms of on-snow experience.
