Vinyl heat shrink wrapping carbon poles.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
_ I lost the original thread, but you can get shrink wrap tubing in sizes up to 2 inches in diameter at most serious electronic supply places[1]. It reduces in diameter up to 50% when heated with a blow dryer. I take the baskets off my poles and use the smallest diameter that will fit over the basket holder. ( either 3/4 or 7/8 of an inch ). If you have probe poles, you can start from the other end. _ Mine gets pretty cut up after a season and replacing it is part of my summer ski storage ritual. _ Booker C. Bense [1]- i.e. not Radio Shack, but FRY's. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBQeHbhmTWTAjn5N/lAQERigP/e7DRhI5YjTN2uSUuylsyn95duyRpOe55 PfFT7dcTxS19YuljM8ywBKwY7hGzilf12wKiqHm7magI4YIbxJ TmLbsqij+3oz1e jYfExaWhfnnNX9PZ33cDGhvrbY0ZeKwmei9c3e4LNCEJhgpyFc CdLOciTm++6r6a qA7T8l3k14k= =iboX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
