Default Most palmer boards top out at 165 length. WHY?

thanks for the info everyone. I bought a Palmer Honeycomb 165, with
palmer power link [shock] plates and Drake Matrix bindings(very nice
bindings btw). this setup is awesome. there are no issues with the
height of the board, it fits me fine...
