Default marker m9.1 binding forward tension adjustment?

I'm trying to figure out how the marker m9.1 heel piece shows that
it's correctly adjusted for forward pressure. I don't see any markings
on the mounting plate or heel piece. secondly how much play should be
under the ski boot toe and the toe rest plate? I've heard several
things "use a dollar bill, should just be able to pull out", or "use a
drivers license, and pull out".

thanks for the help in advance.

If it's like the M41 look at the little round pin-thing (maybe 1/4" in
diameter) at the back of the heelpiece. As you turn the heelpiece back
and forth (with the boot in the binding) you'll see it move in and out
of the heelpiece. It should end up being flush with its housing.

UNLESS it's one of the ones with three lines, in which case I don't know
where you should set it.

I was told that you should be able to slip a credit card in and out, but
I don't think newer bindings have an adjustment for that.

thanks for the help in advance.

Others will be of more help, but I'm here now!

thanks for the tips. I have heard about the marker adjustment screw
flush, but didn't know if it applied to this binding.

It's not a screw, just an indicator pin. The adjustment is moving the
binding back and forth in tiny increments, with resulting changes in
pressure.
