Default Snow Summit 3/18/11

Excellent day - sunny enough to get burned but a hazy sky (not quite
the hoped-for overcast) and a cold wind kept the snow hard and dry in
most places all day. Only the direct sun-aspect slopes, like lower
Westridge, got sloppy. Less traveled runs like Side Chute were hard
and smooth all day.

My plan was to ski until the surface got sloppy and then go take care
of next year's season pass paperwork in the office, but it never got
that way. Except for a short lunch break, I skied right up until the
time I had to leave (a little after 2PM) in order to be on time to
meet my son at the airport.

The main lot was 95% full, but I never saw a lift line more than 6-10
people.
