Default Whistler's Weather

I have skied Whistler since 1965 and this is by far the worst year
since then. It is amazing what the groomers are doing to save the
little snow we do have, but we are up at our condo right now and it is
pretty sad. Yesterday it was raining right up to the peak. Just a
crazy year. But.........maybe, just maybe, we still might get a
snowfall of worth. Our place is right on the ski out of the Wizard
Chair and there still is a swath of snow down the middle of the run
for ski-in/out........but if the rain continues and the temperatures
remain high that will be gone by next week. Today looks like a sunny
one though. That's better than rain! We will be skiing today and if
anyone has more questions, just email me. All our renters right up to
last week were pretty happy with the conditions though, I guess we are
just spoiled and expect more.

Dawne:
We are scheduled to visit Whistler from March 19 through the 26. It
will be our first trip out there (we live in the East). I am a
green/blue skiier but the rest of family is blues and blacks. We are
looking forward to the town, but of couse, we are coming for the
skiing. do you think we should cancel out and go somewhere else?
Thanks,
ilene

For what it's worth, I got some powder runs on Sunday at Blackcomb.

If you can walk out of your trip deal without loosing much, I'd cancel
though. It just doesn't look like the snow will stay there for long..
