Default recommend a snowboard?

Looking for a new board, freeriding and small jumps for 4 years now, 6',
165lbs, currently riding a burton bullet 161, nice and fast but in bad
shape. I just got ride LX bindings, and they blew me away, really
comfortable and responsive, I think I'll upgrade to EX's though. So I figure
I look at some ride boards. Looking at Burton Air and Ride Timeless can't
decide what to go for. My style is aggresive, twitchy and fast. I like
sliding back and forth and doing realy agressive turns down the hill. Budget
300-500 bucks Got any suggestions? .

I'm just being a good. I don't know anything about picking snowboards. I
just couldn't resist responding to the subject of your post.

Arbor Element.

I just got one. 162. Rode it in Vail all weekend. Its stiff and
responsive. You can really lay some craters down when you carve. The A
frame model is even more stiff. Even better for that....

Its old school look is also pleasing to the eye.

Caveat: I'm at about an intermediate skill level and I haven't ridden a
wide variety of boards, but...

I believe the Timeless would suit you well. I have the wide version of
the Timeless and I've had no problems carving in all kinds of
conditions: crud, groomers, and fresh or crusted powder. Don't know
how it is on ice, really. I like to ride fast, although how
aggressively I'm not sure, and I've always felt confident on my Ride (I
think the stiffness helps).

I don't know about twitchy...I'm not sure what that means. If you mean
lots of quick edge transitions where you're sort of heading straight
down the fall line, then yes, the Ride will be stable there as well.

It feels a little too stiff for tight bumps, but that could just be my
lack of skill.

Hope that helps
Eric

Can't go wrong with a Never Summer. I ride a Legacy (I have big feet).
