birkie housing available.
I am about to call my host, Bob, at Drummond, WI, to let him now that
me and my wife won't be coming this year. The place is the great for a Birike skier. I've stayed there the last 3 years. It's a 3 min from Como Field. It's a standalone , clean cabin on a wooded property, with a modern gas stove, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4, and we've succcessfully slept 5). Bob, an automechanic, had let us use his huge heated garage for waxing. We were paying $60-70 a night for all of us per night, depending on the # of people. All I am asking in return is to let us reserve the cabin for the next year (I am still hoping my sickness is not going to last for years). Please email me at . I figured it's best if fellow skiers take advantage of the place. Some bit of complaining below: I got a bacterial infection in my lungs in Dec (at the Bay area BART, most likely) and have developed an asthma that does not respond to any available asthma drugs. I develop severe cough after staying above LT for more than 20 sec. Not good for an elite wave start (and I was goign to try to make top 100 this year). |
