Default Skiers Edge Training Machine

Hi..I'm thinking of buying a Skiers Edge 'Classic' unit, and I'm wondering
if anyone has used one and what their opinion of the machine is. Thanks.

Robust, very easily assembled. Good all-round cardiovascular exercise,
with short anaerobic interval training possible on high resistance
settings as well. Graham Bell - who distributes it in the UK - put it
together in front of me, took about 5 minutes. Then he demo'd, it really
did look like the 'true' skiing action. By no means replaces everything
in the gym (core strength, flexibility etc) but for skiers it does the
job. Good for balance, works all the right muscles. After six months,
very impressed.

There was a discussion on www.MySnowSports.com he

Also if you do a search on the US forum Epicski
http://forums.epicski.com/ there are numerous threads on the subject.

www.skiersedge.co.uk - there's a range of machines - the one I got
wasn't the cheapest (Big Mountain series with the All Mountain Master
footpads). It retailed at around £1,000 then. Clubs, ski racers etc
might be entitled to a discount.

Ta, I found the website before, but it has no prices, I guessed it
would be in that region.

Graham Bell Was demonstrating / letting the kids play on two machines at the
Norfolk Grand Prix I had a go and thought they wer quite good exercise but
when I asked what the prices where I lost interest! For the current
versions They started at over £1000 (I think that included Racers
discounts), he did have some older models but they didn't seem much cheaper,
he was quoting about £950
