Default This week's snowfalls...

After days of early snow in the Alps, Pyrenees, Auvergne, etc., the big
question is: will it stay cold and lay the foundations of a great season, or
warm up and disappear? Logic says that it's not going to warm enough now to
lose it at higher altitudes, so maybe there's some cause for optimism.

Either way, it's nice to see some snow on the webcams again...

I never get excited about November (nor October) snowfalls. It usually
melts before the season starts
