Default Summer Ski-ing in France

Hi there,

I'm going over to France (around Grenoble) in a couple of weeks time and was
hoping to get 2 or 3 days snowboarding whilst I'm there. Being a couple of
months early for the season, can anyone suggest which resorts are open? (I
heard Deux Alpes and maybe Alpe d'Huez have you round glaciers).

And, any advice on whether it is worth going to the slopes at all - or am I
best staying in the towns?

Many thanks,

Nick.

Probably not worth bothering, Tignes is your only choice in two weeks
time, les Deux Alpes and, possibly l'Alpe d'Huez will open for half term
(the week up to 1st November).
