I've made the leap.
Well, it's official - I now have a good 24" of shelf-space dedicated
to Capilene and all the other Wearable -enes out there. For years I've struggled with where to store my long johns. First it was with the ski gear, then it was with the biking and camping gear, and then I broke down and bought some new stuff and now have sets dedicated to both. Well along comes biking season, which currently happens to overlap with subsistence living season, so there's no freakin way I'm buying a whole new set just for that. So I've now got a dedicated long undewear slot - instant access, 24/ 7 and 365 days a year. JP ************************ Pondering the merits.... |

You're a very sensible person. Traditional closets and dressers just
aren't made for people who dress in -ene all year round. -- Mary Malmros Some days you're the windshield, other days you're the bug. |

If I had separate sets for skating and skiing, I'd go nuts, raiding the ski stash for a skate when it's 15 degrees out, and borrowing from the skating pile for an April ski trip, then trying to remember which goes where after it's washed....makes my head hurt just thinking about it. bw |

In article ,
says... You guys put away your clothing? Scary. By "put away", I suppose you mean "put back in the washer because it got wrinkled in the dryer", yes? We could make a sorta reality tee vee thing, call it something like, "Queer Bee for the Straight Ski". All about how gay men should discard all worthwhile endeavors to help people who have way, WAY too much gear and clothing -- not all of it very well washed -- organize their storage space. Yes on track lighting (w/standard disclaimers), and I stand on my AT Skis far too infrequently to claim I'm a diehard proponent. Hell, for free room and board plus access to the beer fridge I'd even take up telemarketing. JP |
