Best bang for the buck is definitely Utah. Most of the mountains get more
snow then Colorado resorts.

What is wrong with Utah? The people are friendly the terrain is great with
more snow that is on par if not better then Colorado, the slopes are easy to
get to and airfare is reasonable because you're flying into a major airport?

It's hard to appreciate until you are here.

There's something unsettling about having a cult try to run your life. Even
though in actuality they can't _do_ anything to you, they still have an
impact.

Unsettling if you are a coke dealer and practicing alcoholic like Bob
Thompson. The Mormon Church doesn't appreciate having its members

falsely
accused of molesting children, either.
Funny.
I've never had a problem with Mormons in Utah. Always polite, willing

to
discuss issues, SOBER, considerate.

as usual your experiences differ from most everyone else's.

Not to mention that, as part of the practice of polygamy, "arranged
marriages" with "underage" girls is common. And, as a result of the
"marriage", sex (aka child molestation) is part of the deal. Diddling of the
boys is usually kept more quiet and done more out of view.

The mo's can deny it all they want. They "denounced" polygamy because it was
a means to and end. If they can work it back in, believe you me, it will
come back. As a result of the Texas, sodomy, privacy, decision there is a
lawsuit in the courts by a guy and his wife that applied for a marriage
license for another wife.

It's not difficult either. The current big cheez just has to answer his god
phone and take the message that polygamy has magically become part of god's
will. "And, shucks, now that it's unconstitutional for it to be illegal,
let's reinstal it."
