Default Skiwelt report

Just back from a daytrip (from Munich) to Scheffau (Skiwelt).

The snow cover / quality is outstanding. All the valley runs, back down to
Brixen, Hopfgarten, Itter, Söll, Scheffau and Ellmau are in superb
condition. The runs at Going are all hard packed and icy - not very
forgiving. I did not commute oer to Westendorf.

The runs from the top of the Hohe Salve (Söll) are open and are wonderful:
all too often the black runs in the direction of Brixen from the top are
bare or closed

Nearly all the snow canons are going probably because the temperatures are
so low - make snow while they can, just in case.

Anyone going here (or almost anywhere else for that matter) is in for a
treat!

Paul Smith
