Default road closed between Grenoble and Briancon

The RN91 between Grenoble and Briancon is closed since saturday 24/01 due to
rock fall between Peage de Vizille and Sechiliennes.

This road allows to go to Oisans ski resorts : Alpe d'Huez , Les 2 Alpes ,
Serre Chevalier ...

There are detours but on smaller roads with lots of traffic jams.

Guillaume,

Do you know if this problem has been cleared yet?

Thanks

Current Bison Futé estimate is that it won't be fully sorted until 1600
hrs 2nd Feb (one lane only open, alternating traffic at moment).

More local information at
http://www.isere.equipement.gouv.fr/...c/routes38.htm
suggests that work may not be finished until 6 Feb.

Just as long as its fully open by 7th Feb when I head up to Alpe d'Huez
for a week...

Pete/John,

Thanks for the update I will keep my eye on the URL above. We will be mixed
up in the half term chaos - going to Les Deux Alpes from Lyon.

Clive
