Congratulations to Jay Pique!
I also noted that Jeff Davis was
at the ceremonies. I hope he
didn't **** somebody off with
an ill-timed word.

Won't help.

"57-suite" "second phase of the project will include an even larger
hotel with an indoor water park"

Where's the dorms for college students and "between" folks? Where's the
cut rate tickets and lodging required to keep in the ski market the
folks transitioning from Dad Pays family member to self sustaining
adult. These wusses think skiers need "suites" and "water parks" to keep
coming back; but what they get are dilettantes who'll vacation in the
BVI next year and Tuscany the next, not dedicated skiers who will be
their mainstay into the future. I have no sympathy with ski resorts who
crash and burn economically when they make ludicrous decisions like this.

But what do I know?

They already put in the golf course and the outdoor pool, so what are
they going to do?

Down in the grass roots, however, a couple of local boys got in
trouble for cutting their own trail on the next mountain back.

A waterpark ? Ugh. Is the profit margin on these resorts so thin that
they all apparently are willing to risk it all just to pull in a few
more people in the summer months ?
