Default Good forecast sites for Jackson & southern CO?

We're on the road next week, probably to southern CO (Wolf Creek,
Monarch and maybe CB), possibly to Jackson. Final decision will be
made while we're loading the truck (or maybe a couple of hours down
the road); predicted snowfall will be the main factor.

Aside from the obvious (weather.com, nws, etc), anybody got any good
sites for forecasts? My main source for the UP is a local
meteorologist with his own page (johndee.com); anybody know of
anything similar for these areas?

We always ran the water vapor loops in the Avalanche Lab at Jackson Hole.

No wonder you published that ****ing idiocy condoling us for a bad snow
year in Jackson Hole last December. You're incapable of comprehending
raw meteorological data.

And you are obviously incapable of understanding sarcasm. Were you
born that stupid or have you smacked your head on a few lift towers
along the way?

Try the source -
NOAA Monarch:
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Monarch&state=CO&site=PUB&te xtField1=38.5328&textField2=-106.05&e=0
you can just enter a different locale and the site will bounce to the
local NOAA center

Snow forecast - here's my locale - enter your locale...
http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/static/ncal/3days

Forecast for you: deep and steep; blue skies; no crowds.

Forecasts? Weather will happen. I'm always surprised when I look out
the window in the morning. Wolf Creek, Monarch and CB have some of
the most snow ever. So even if it doesn't snow while you're here, you
ain't gonna be lacking in good conditions. Saturday was warm and
sunny and the North Face had better coverage than I've ever seen.
Sunday morning another 5" - 6" of freshies and much colder. Get here
if you can.

Can't speak for Jackson but bet it's outstanding too.

I wear Yvon's baggies when I'm on Oahu, or swimming the Lunch Counter.

Sarcasm my ass you ****in' mogul hopper. I was reporting a weak layer.
By the 14th of January, it took an 80 pound bomb to get the slab on top
of it to release. We're dick deep with a Pineapple Express setting up
for Scott and Bert's visit.
