Default Fixing ragged edge on skate skis

I have dinged and gouged my edges a few times so far this winter,
skiing in conditions that I probably should have avoided. Well I could
find a lot of information on waxing skate skis, I haven't been able to
find any information on the proper tools and techniques for
straightening / burnishing the plastic edges on my skate skis. Does
anybody have any tips or good links?

If there's any ragged edges hanging off, cut them off with a razor sharp knife.
That will leave a smooth edge. I'd just leave it at that, although you could
fill in the cut with a ptex candle.

I second the "just cut off the ragged parts with a razor blade" advise. I
have wood showing for about an inch on the edge of one of my rock skis and
they're still very fast. those same skis have some pretty deep gouges in the
base, too. Don't sweat it. Keep waxing them like they're your newest pair
and they'll keep gliding just fine.
