I'm off next weekend to Hintertux - it's hard to judge what the conditions
are like stuck here in the UK - does anyone have some 1st hand experience?

From looking at various websites, it's been snowing for just over a week
(very cold too)!

Thanks.

Also open this weekend: Lac de Vaux in Verbier and Klein Matterhorn in
Zermatt. 15cm of powder in the Geneva countryside this morning (and monster
traffic jams....)

Quite a lot of snow round here too. I decided it might be a good idea
to put my winter tyres on before leaving the house this morning, so I
don't know if there was bad traffic or not at peak time, but I did see
a couple of abandoned cars, one of which had executed a nice 180deg
spin before ending up arse-first in a ditch. I think I made the right
decision.
