Default Snow for Tahoe?

So, at 74 degrees farenheit with blue skies on February 24, I've gotta
wonder, are we going to have a winter this year?

Hey - it's California.
Anyway, we just came off a week long spell of very nice very cold
weather with continuous fresh light powder day and night for DAYS. About
burst the quads trying to pack it all down so tourists wouldn't get
hurt. Where were you?
Now we're skiing spring conditions - firm in the am, softening to
potatoes in the pm. Having a marvelous time arcing big lines through the
steep crud. Where were you?
So to the forecast - Sunday warm storm, snow on the slopes rain at the
lake, cooling to snow everywhere later in the week. Will you be there?
Or will it be another: Where were you?

There's a dirty great storm rolling in from the Pacific. Looks like the
first lot will roll north, but then the rest will come straight in.

That said, I think spring will come very early this year.

Sugar Bowl.

Medical leave.

Don't know, yet. Will try for Thursday or Friday. Have to get a needle
stuck in my back a week from Monday, so I definitely want one more day
before that; just in case.

In the meantime, is there a problem with me wanting more snow, more often?

Spring, as in an absence of snowfall? That's one of my worries. Last year
was spectacular! Haven't skied as many days this year as last year so I'm
feeling the absence of storm after storm after storm ...

More, a general early warming trend. There might still be snow, but it'll be
spring, not winter.

It was good, and this year suffers by comparison. And warm seems the general
trend, barring a few blips. Hope this thing brings more snow and less
rain...
