Default How long do ratchet wheels last in rollerskis?

When you buy classic rollerskis is it fairly standard to get an extra
set of ratchet wheels for when the originals blow out?

I'm buying a set of Jeseniks from Czech and Emil says the regular wheels
last a long time but that it would be smart to get an extra set of
anti-reverse wheels, to save on postage/time. Seems to make sense. But
maybe it's excessive: if ratchets last for 10 years maybe I won't sweat
it. Except 10 years goes faster than you think and it would good to have
em on hand! : ) Sheesh the price tag keeps climbing...

I"ve got a very old pair of V2 900series. Third set of wheels. This
time, when I replaced the wheels, I had finally got a pair of skating
roller skis (Marwe 610s). (try learing to skate on a pair of very slow,
wide wheel 910s for an 'interesting' experence) I've now had the 910 set
of wheels in the V2s for 4.5 years, with little wear, and no failures of
the ratchet.
