3D trail maps
Friend of mine saved a few overlays in Google Earth which allows to see x-c
trails in 3D. He posted some of them at http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthrea...=286195&page=5 Open the placemark, make sure "terrain" checkbox is checked and adjust the "tilt" to your preferred viewing altitude. You can also go to tools - options and increase the elevation exaggeration. Use the slider on the bottom left to adjust the overlay transparency. BarryT P.S. For those not familiar with Google Earth. It is a free program that works only with Win2000, WinXP or MacOSX; you also need high-speed internet... |
