Default Czech Mountains

Dear All,
We are off to the Czech Republic, initially Nove Hamy near Krusne Hory, in
the Ore Mountains. I have been watching the snow disappear at this site.

There seems to be a little more snow in th Giant Mountains. I do not know
how accurate the figures are. They seem to relate to the downhill slopes and
that are complemented by artificial snow, plus I suspect they reflect what
is at the top of the pistes.
There seems to a little more snow in the Giant Mountains. Could any one
suggest a good base for cross-country?
Thanks
Neil
