Default La Plagne - anyone local can give an update?

Hi,

Talking this morning the feeling is that the good reliable skiing this year
will be in March. Obviously France isn't the same, but if things pan out as
they have before round here when December has been mild then March it has to
be (avoiding February for obvious reasons).

In fact in a year like this March can be excellent...

Well I've not got to make a decision until the 19th. Snow dance every

night
between now and then is in order it would seem.
Time to read the small print on my holiday insurance, but I suspect I'll

not
get much joy there.

La Plagne - Montalbert. It's only at 1350m. I don't mind going up from
there for decent snow, but it's a long way to trek down from the UK by car
for poor conditions

OK, here's mo it's still snowing gently/somewhat, I would say anyone
called Dave spending Xmas / New Year in Laax will be OK for skiing. It'll be
nice mild weather again on Wednesday but the piste should be fine.

Those of us who navigate the footpaths of Laax every morning find it a bit
tricky though :-)

And it's shut the moles and birds up - they are now keeping a low profile.
