The first report of the year...Sugarbush felt the need to win the
"we're open" competition this year and had two (really one) run
open yesterday and today (rim run and elbow).

Beyond that..its most depressing. There is no snow anywhere,
though they have blown snow on one run at Lincoln peak
(organgrinder). The foot of real snow from late October is
long washed/melted away and the temps near 70 for most of
the week last week were clearly crushing to winter sports up
in the north east.

It's been overnight lows around 20 at 2000' below the base area
for the past 3 nights but the forecast is not looking good with
night temps barely 32 after monday.

Six more days until we sacrafice the first skiier to Ullr....
