weight of board on life hurts knee

Lot of us just rest the free end of the board on the toe of the free foot to
support it.

Some lift chairs have foot bars that you could rest the board onto aswell.

If all else fails - Start carrying a dog leash - clip into the opposite
binding to support the board.

Just avoid twisting the board about when only hooked into the one foot - lot
of stress on the joints that way.

My knee hurts when I am on the lift and only one leg (same knee) is

While waiting in the lift line, do up the first few ratchets on your back
binding's toestrap

When you are on the chairlift just slip your toes under the strap. At this
point you may consider doing up the toestrap to aid in getting off the
chairlift ramp at the top of the hill.

I use this technique all the time. Just make sure the toestrap is open
enough to allow the toe of the boot to easily slide into place. Also, make
sure it's not too loose as the ratchet may let go.
