BD GlideLite Skins

Any user comments regarding Black Diamond's GlideLite skins (The one
with blue cow skin patterns)? How do they compare to Ascension skins?

_ Black Diamond and Ascension are the same company now. I got a
pair of the GlideLite's this summer on severe discount. I haven't
had a chance to try them yet. Visually, they are thinner and
probably less robust. It seems like there were a lot of Glidelite
skins offered at severe discounts over the summer which is always
a bit suspcious. Could just be the rather ugly graphics..

_ IMHO, it's hard to go wrong with Ascension skins. Better to
have something that just works than to save a few onces.
