Default New Hampshire Ski Purchase Question:

Since the end of the season is approaching, I am thinking of combining
the next skiing trip to New Hampshire with the purchase of the XC
skiing gears. Do NH ski stores offer end of season sales in February
and March? Can anyone recommend some stores (ideally, near North
Conway)? What kind of saving should I expect, up to 50% maybe? Thank
you in advance!

Default New Hampshire Ski Purchase Question:

If you can make it over to Freeport, L.L. Bean has nearly all their ski
gear for 40% off at the moment. The stuff they sell in the catalog is all
low-end touring gear but they have higher end stuff (Fischer SCS, Atomic
RC/RS-9, Salomon Racing Skate 9 boots, Swix CT3 poles -- i.e. high but not
highest in each brand) in the retail store, all at 40% off. Pilot
bindings for $59. Lots of deals to be had. With the snow we're getting
tonight you might be able to ski in the Cumberland/Portland area, too.

L.L. Bean has an outlet store in North Conway, but the selection of
cross-country gear there is hit or miss.
EMS has a regular store in North Conway, but I don't know when they'd be
having sales on ski equipment.
