Default PTFE vs. Fluoro? ---PTFE cheap on eBay now.

A friend forwarded me this sale he saw on eBay. My impression is that
PTFE was the fast stuff pre-Fluoro. Ski-280 and 242. Maybe 242 is still
good in 40F? ...But maybe that was Teflon instead. Who knows.

Item Description:
Ski and Board Wax
This auction is for 250 grams of MDA-f6, a six micron %100 pure PTFE
(AKA Teflon) ski/board glide wax enhancement
powder.

8 gram package pictured, 250 grams will ship in similar package
PTFE is the ultimate nonstick coating and has been a standard additive
in ski/board
waxes for years, but pure PTFE has until now been reserved for
professional
ski racers (compare MDA-f6 with Swix CerraF which sells for over $100
for 30
grams at R.E.I). MDA-f6 can be used sparingly and this 250 gram
package is enough
to cover hundreds of skis.
Safe and nontoxic (view MSDS
here) , MDA-f6 is %100 inert, it will not harm the environment nor
your
equipment.
MDA-f6 provides superior glide in all snow conditions. This wax turns
any regular
glide wax into a racing wax!

To view comparisons of MDA-f6 with Zardoz Not-wax and Swix Fluorocarbon
waxes,
or to learn more about this product visit the SuperT Ski Wax web site,
