Default 165 or 169 question

Not sure how to reply within a post so ill just post here.....

The general rule of thumb is to get a board that come up between your chin and your collar bone, shorter boards are usually more for freestyle (tricks and such) because of better control. Just get one in the middle probally 165....hope this helps...

Sorry, rules like that only really work if you are of average build for
your height. Better to take weight as an indicator. See the FAQ for more
on that.
