Lake Tahoe Open?

Are most resorts, in the Tahoe area, ready to run the lifts this weekend?

Sierra Ski Ranch opens today.
Squallywood is having a "sneak peek" this weekend. Daily ops start Sat.
Nov 22.
Jerkwood is open the 15th and 16th, with daily ops starting the 22nd.

Alpine opens today with limited terrain and a single lift IIRC.

All these places are a bunch of wusses. If there's enough snow at the
lower evevation to run a lift there's certainly enough up higher. I say
if they want to open something, run a lift to the peak, let the skier
decide if/how to get down.

Liability concerns might cause them to be conservative in what they
open. Happened in many places.

Some skiers do not have good judgement. They are not smart enough to
make good decisions on what is skiable, but are smart enough to call
an attorney as soon as they are injured.
