The one I bought was a Giro.. I just went to a ski shop when I was in the
states and tried on a heap of them.. picked the one that was the most comfortable.. Only cost $70US, so I'm pretty happy with that.. By the way, I would say that more than 70% of adults in the states wear helmets, and 95% of the kids do.. I'm not suggesting this is a good reason to start wearing a helmet, in fact normally if the Americans are doing it, I would rather not do it.. however, its just an observation.. "Steve Pardoe" wrote in message news "AH" wrote in message ... Have you ever tried wearing a helmet while skiing? I recently bought one and it is great, it keeps your head warm and holds your goggles in place well.. Soooo, (avoiding the flames on the later thread) what's the best type of helmet for adults to wear? My wife and I have both cycling helmets and climbing (Alpine) helmets - I guess the cycling ones are more comfortable and aerodynamic (not that I deliberately ski fast) but is there a special type recommended for (adult) skiing?
