That's how you do it in San Diego. Wow. We just look outside. You
ex-Navy guys are just to high tech for us backwoods cowboys in Wyoming.

Yep, just shoveled over a foot off the deck yesterday and it's still
coming down.

It's a 7-hour trip to Mammoth. I'm not starting out unless there is
some assurance of good conditions.

On the other hand, when I look out the window, I see fruit trees.

And on the other other hand, the local mountains (two and a half hours
if the roads are clear) are also getting their first natural snow of
the year.

My autoreporting dog is about 26" tall at the shoulder. Judging from
this morning's Vinnie Invitational Frisbee Game, I have close to about
30".
