Avalanche near Solitude outside SLC, Utah
There has been a lot of discussion here lately about the Salt Lake City
ski resorts (including a thread I started), so people should be interested in this news story about an avalanche that hit four skiers near Solitude. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt, though one person seems to have survived only because he was wearing an avalanche beacon and was dug out quickly after being buried. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15729463/ Joe Ramirez
