Dirty Trick or Astute Business Practice
Eurosport show the FIS nordic events on Eurosport International as the
named FIS media transmitter. They transmit the same pictures on home nation Eurosport in my case British Eurosport and British Eurosport HD thru the very expensive SKY Group which is beyond my price range. During the Tour de Ski someone reported they were showing a womens race only on Eurosport 2 their internet channel and the mens race as normal. Yesterday they showed the Otepaa races as normal, but the sprints today, Sunday, are only being shown on Eurosport 2 with no replay on a normal channel, and thats not fair. Frustrated am I. I've spent money on a larger sat dish with 3 sat lnb's and have concentrated on free to air sat reception around the house. But I've got an old PC, and poor PC skills, plus I dont have the PC power to receive Internet live TV broadcasts, and I wont be able to afford a major PC change before the Vancouver Oly's. I just hope my hero Basil Brush doesnt take off on a skiing holiday at that time. |
