Default Just go

This morning I had one of those confirmatory experences that our coaches
tell us about. The advice is, of course, "just do it". The experence:
Got up this morning to light drizzle and overcast. By the time I'd had
my coffee and read the paper, it was raining. I had planned to do my
weekly Afton Coulee long interval session, and, as I began driving there,
was racked by doubts - much rain, wind, cold, etc. But I steeled myself
to at least try - and to be prepared for a miserable, but soul improving,
workout.
When I got there, and got my boots and skis on, the rain had abated, the
wind died down; but, you can't have it all, it was still overcast. Warmed
up, did my three 10 min. intervals, did a bit of cool down, got back in
the car, and the rain picked up as I drove off. Sometimes you get lucky.
A really pleasant, cool morning roller ski.
Go out the door - to quote another.
-Ken
