Delaminating ski repairable?
Hello
I have a ski that is starting to delaminate at the tip (Madshus Voss) Anyone managed to reglue a delaminating ski. It separates between the P-tex and the center of the ski. I am afraid P-Tex is not easy to glue. Sylvain fauvel AT emt DOT inrs DOT ca |

begin bu using afairly gritty (100 - 150) sandpaper and rough the interior of the pt and ski construction material. next apply a SLOW drying expoxy glue on the newly roughened surfaces. follow the individual glue instructions... make sure to clamp the ski firmly togther for the full 24 hours or so required for the glue to dry, and make sure to keep the ski indoors at Room Temperature while it is drying. if it dry's in the cold it will not hold hope this helps |
