Outing a Special Forces or SEAL wannabe question
On Thu, 09 Aug 2007 10:38:34 -0600, just me wrote this
crap: New neighbor moved into my neighborhood a couple weeks back. Haven't liked him since the first time I met him and do not associate with him in any way. A couple friends have told me he told one of them he was Special Forces in VN and the other says he claimed to be a SEAL in VN. Neither of these friends were ever in the military so they don't have a clue as to his truth fullness. They both know that I was a lowly 11B in VN and want me to check him out. I really could not care less what he was at one time but since he is a heavy druggie now I don't wish for him to put a negative light on those of us who did serve in the military. What I'm asking for is a quick question I can ask him to verify his stories. I understand that for a SEAL I should ask his BUDs (number or class)? What would a legitimate number/class look like? I have no idea what to ask concerning Green Beenies. Thanks much JV 11B40 RVN class of 68 - 69 Co A 2/502 inf 101st Abn His name is Scott Abraham, and he is a serial liar. He lies about his SEAL training, and he lies about being in Vietnam. He lies about his friends, and the inflatable girls he dates. He lies about staying in million dollar mansions, and he claims he has a new 1200cc touring bike. He makes his pennies stealing clothes from a soup kitchen, and selling the stuff on E-bay. Avoid him like the plague. My T-shirt says, "This shirt is the ultimate power in the universe." |

He got spnacked pretty good over several old claims. The regulars drag that type in for review when the story just won't work. Another interesting read, if you're into watching liars do a melt-down. har, har Also, for the worst-of-the-worst on Usenet.... anyone who has a record on alt.usenet.kooks can be guaranteed to have a few screws loose: Kookle Search Results 2 matches for "Scott Abraham". Scott Abraham Bobo Award Kook Kard Deck, Nine of Hearts http://tinyurl.com/3dqym5 (back to the thread topic) Reading those threads in AWV wil give good hints on how to handle phoneys. Pepperoni |

He did, however, claim to be instructed/taught "applied mayhem" by SEALS. You'll have to look up the actual quote. RSA (meaning regulars) never claimed Scott was a SEAL. They do throw the actual quote to which I am alluding back at him once in a while. The people that actually post that Scott claimed to BE a SEAL are trolls who are not regulars and not (probably) skiers. |

He implied that he was a SEAL, and he has claimed to be a combat journalist in Vietnam. He even claimed to be invited to their reunions, by his CO. He claimed to be trained by SEALS as has been pointed out even more times than your own stupidity, Parking Lot Grammar Boi. And he certainly claimed to be in Vietnam, as has been demonstrated by his plagiarizing that little tome written by a real war hero. Say Doofus, do they have Old Folk Winnebago Farms or are you going to be pet food like your buddy, most likely cat food, you big pussy. Got your AARP application yet? |

The quote above is Jeff's quote, I posted essentially the same thing you did. |
