Although the early snow hasn't hung around on the lower slopes, I hear
conditions are great on the Tignes glacier. Lifts didn't open until 11
this morning - too much snow. Off there tomorrow morning, first trip
this season, will report back.

OK, OK, OK I'm jealous, where am I skiing tomorrow? Milton Keynes
Where am I skiing on Sunday, Hemel Hempstead ( think flat, sticky, yellow
and green dendex)

Tomorrow is Masters race training, on "snow"
Sunday is the regional Championships on plastic. the training on snow is
really going to improve my chances on plastic isn't it?

Well bless you Chris - where am I skiing tomorrow - nowhere, Sunday -
nowhere, next week - no where, the rest of the year - err... no where. Count
your blessings and enjoy whatever you can.

Surely there's a dry slope somewhere near you, I know I was winging, but it
is better than nothing.

I'd challenge that, I'd much rather sit on my arse and do nothing than
ski on a dry slope:-)

why? I admit it can be boring having such short runs and I wouldn't go so
often if I wasn't teaching or racing, but I always used to go several times
before I went on Holiday because otherwise you waste the first day or so.

or do like me and descend the length of the Champs-Elysees at a fast
slalom :-), I can assure you, falling on concrete as 25km/h is much
nicer than falling on Dendrix.

I heard the company that makes the dry ski slope material has gone bust,
probably too many law suits.

Nice one, that does it I'm definitely going to get off my arse and go
out tomorrow to Titlis.

Keep us posted on the conditions for Tignes though, if it's open next
weekend I fancy it.

Ian
