Saalbach/Hinterglemm
Can anyone help and pass on some info about what to expect from the above
resorts in Austria in January please? Only spent a week skiing before in Germany and would like some more info on the above away from what the brochures/ websites say. Persons views are generally better than those mentioned. Thanks in advance Onion |

Saalbach/Hinterglemm
Went with Equity Ski to the Hotel Riegler in Saalbach in mid April last year
amidst dismal snow reports. Salzburg clear of snow when we arrived but started when we reached resort and snowed for 4 days. I have to say it was the best skiing holiday I've had, and I've had a few!! The new Gondola - the Schattsburg Express, is close by and whisks you to the top of the mountain where you have good variation including a good black all the way down. You also have Hinterglemm which also provides great variation. lots of off piste, lots of powder!!! We enjoyed it so much we are going back in february - the first time I've ever been to a resort twice!! "JP" wrote in message ...
