Default skiing today

If it wasn't early season skiing, I wouldn't be mentioning it after all
the bottomless 3% powder being reported out of Youtaw; but it's mine,
and I had a good time getting the legs back. Up again and at it in the
morning - bye.

Snow getting firmer where the skiers have pounded it, crustier where the
sun has pounded it, and with rain threatened likely icier where it
thawed and froze tomorrow, EXCEPT it didn't rain today - radar shows the
local north Tahoe area as a pocket of clear in the center of a large
damp area. Freak of nature. Been having fun getting the legs back, and
working on reflexes. Quick GS and SL charts through frozen ruts reminds
one that the knees need vitamin I for continued efforts. Will try again
on the morrow unless it's a warm downpour - even a tad of light rain
shouldn't dissuade.

And all you Youtaw folks can bite me. Eat ice like real men.
