I was in Pompeii last June. Fascinating to see humans and animals

I spent 4 days there last June. Amazing place. Did all the normal
sight seeing. 4 days is the perfect amount of time, although it is a
very busy schedule

I thought 4 days was a little short. OK for the center of town and all
of the hotspots. But I'd like to stay out of town. Among the aquaduct,
catacombs and so. Then train in 20 mins or so to visit the center of
town. But then I've seen the center of town and stayed there on my
first trip. But that's a huge chunk of change for a place to sleep and
shower.

the area, and walk we did, covering many miles taking in all the
sites..
